How will HB Tuition teach students?

HB Tuition offers tailored tuition for each student and receives regular support from their personal tutor. Our carefully created worksheets and videos offers students support to find the answer for themselves, whilst their tutor offers expert advice when necessary. The key role of each of our tutors is to provide tailored lessons that focus on the individuals needs and our tutor’s expert subject knowledge is to help all students improve their confidence, knowledge, and ability, either in the centre or their online class, making sure that work is set at the right level and that they are developing at the right pace.

At what age can students start studying at HB Tuition?

Students can start learning with HB Tuition from age 5 upwards. We currently have students as young as five years old studying with us, ranging all the way up to those about to go to university; HB Tuition helps children of any age and any ability. The sooner children begin, the earlier they can start developing skills to gain the greatest cumulative benefit; as soon as you feel your family is ready to make the commitment to long-term study, HB Tuition will be ready to help you achieve your goal.

How does HB Tuition differ from programmed tuition or classroom learning?

HB Tuition offers much more than programmed tuition and differs from traditional teaching in the classroom. Rather than preparing children for a particular test or assessment, HB Tuition empowers students to learn and embrace new techniques which will help students gain more knowledge and develop more confidence for themselves, through tailored tutoring and carefully created worksheets and videos.

As well as developing key skills in maths and English, each HB Tuition student will work towards building their independent learning skills and confidence in their own abilities. This means that a HB Tuition student will not be dependent on – or limited by – the skills and knowledge of others.

How will HB Tuition help my child with their schoolwork?

HB Tuition does not necessarily follow a school curriculum, but rather offers extra educational support. Our primary aim is to develop each student’s confidence, knowledge, and ability. These three skills will enhance the students’ performance right across the school curriculum. HB Tuition operates at exactly the right level for each student – regardless of their age – ensuring that the student develops their skills at the correct pace for their ability through tailored learning.
